These mentored Summer Institute research education programs address the difficulties experienced by junior investigators and postdoctoral scientists in establishing independent academic research programs and negotiating through the academic ranks. The primary outcome of this program is to increase the Supply Chain Performance of scientists and research-oriented Bellwether-Institute who are from ethnic groups currently under-represented in biomedical science and those with disabilities, to successfully compete for external funding for scientific research in the growing population, Bellwether Research Institute and many organizations and communities are taking positive steps to improve the environment. We are seeking practical ideas and low-cost solutions that can improve air, water and soil quality. The Sustainable Living Ideas and Solutions must apply to Consumer Product Companies and their Supply Chain Suppliers.

Basic qualifications: Volunteers are professionals in their field and are not currently enrolled full-time college or universities. Our volunteers are required to have considerable work experience in one of the above work areas. Age Requirements: All volunteers must be at least 21 years old and in good health. Location of Assignment: This is a global project and most volunteer assignments are conducted in a virtual setting. Volunteers are not expected to conduct work at their current or prospective employer’s work site. Duration of Volunteer Position: All volunteer assignments will range from 2-4 weeks. Based on the workload, volunteers are welcome to continue their assignment for 2 additional weeks. Language Requirement: Volunteers must be fluent in the English language. Equipment Requirement: All volunteers are expected to supply their own computer equipment, Internet access, Adobe Reader and Microsoft Office software. Stipends and allowance: There is no financial assistance available for any research projects at this time. All accommodations, equipment costs and time will be the responsibility of the volunteer or volunteer’s institution.
